We have recently made substantial investments in equipment including a wire E.D.M. facility to compliment our existing capabilities.

The E.D.M. (Electrostatic Discharge Machining) facility has the ability to cut any programmable profile through any electrically conductive material with great accuracy and with very high quality results. Material thickness can range from 0.004mm to 400mm and the maximum component size is only governed by a table travel of 600x400 mm.

E.D.M. is ideal for prototyping, small batch and tooling and any high specification components. The engineering division provides precision components to the Hermetics division and also provides a competitive high quality subcontract service.
