Plating: committed to the highest standards

SGA technologies has made a substantial long-term commitment to achieving the highest standards of plating across a wide range of metals and materials and for components of all kinds.

We operate from 2 separate sites and have 8 plating lines. We have vat, barrel and autoline factilities which give us the ability to produce high volumes of large and very small components. We operate a 24 hour shift system and employ 4 full-time chemists.

Using plasma spectroscopy measurement we can check plating solutions to 'parts per billion' and verify plating thickness using X-ray technology. We test to customer quality plans, to 100% inspection or to agreed AQL levels. We can also test and measure solderability, adhesion and the composition of the plating deposited.
