Our highly sophisticated laboratory is equipped with:

for control of plating baths
Micro-sectioning equipment
for fine detail thickness measurement
ICP (atomic emission) analysis
capable of measuring to parts per billion in plating baths for effluent
Ultrasonic bath
for specialist cleaning operations
Plating test 'hull' cells
for detailed analysis of plating bath performance
Scanning electron microscope with EDX analysis
for material analysis

All the above, coupled with the personal attention of three fully qualified chemists, ensure that our customers' work is processed to the most exacting standards.

Our research and development facility

This is a purpose built dedicated line which enables us to collaborate with current and potential customers in the development of their new processes and products.

Inspection and quality control

Where necessary plated batches are measured prior to despatch using our X-ray Fluorescence Thickness measuring unit. We also have the facilities to meet all other inspection criteria from solderability testing and visual examination to microscope and adhesion test.

Our quality control systems are all fully documented in our quality control manual which is approved under BS EN ISO 9001
