Soldering

SGA's new ATV soldering system is quartz halogen heated and allows the use of various gas atmospheres including activated acid coupled with vacuum stages. Heating/cooling, furnace atmosphere and vacuum stages are computer controlled allowing processes to be fully optimised.

This allows us to produce hermetic and/or large area void free solder joints using various solder alloys including lead free soft solders and gold based hard solders.
