SGA recognised the need to improve our planning and production management in order to provide our customers with a better service. After assessing our needs and considering a number of available software packages a decision was made to invest in a new ERP system called E-Max ERP.
E-Max ERP from E-Max Systems was found to be affordable, scalable, flexible and capable of being tailored to our specific needs.
Stuart Kossick, our CI manager, was tasked with project managing all aspects of implementing the new system & began by assembling a cross functional team to work alongside an E-Max Implementation consultant. The team’s first major task was to map SGA’s current state, including producing data spreadsheets to be imported into E-Max.
Due to the team’s hard work, SGA were able to switch over to E-Max by April 1st, 2019 and began processing orders through the core E-Max functions.
SGA’s staff and the implementation team continue to work on maximising the effectiveness of E-Max by improving the live processes, installing additional modules and working towards a more effective planning system as well as realising the benefits of improved analysis capability.
Chris Brown, Managing Director, commented “The senior management team identified that improved systems at SGA were essential to our goal of providing excellent customer service. I commend the work of Stuart, the implementation team and the excellent engagement of our wider team. I am confident their work, both so far and as we move forward, will reap benefits for our customers”
